4 months!

Our sweet little Grayson is 4 months today. Wow!

Here are some of his stats this month:
15 pounds 10 ounces (55%)
26 inches long (85%)
Size 6 month clothes
Size 2 diapers
Laughing - although still only really at Sterling

Drooling - hopefully still a while until we see any teeth, but the drooling has commenced
He can roll from his back to his tummy and shows his skill anytime you put him down. He has rolled from his tummy to his back a couple of times, but doesn't do it consistently yet.
His eyes are still fairly light in color. They're a mix of grey, blue, and brown right now - just beautiful!

Christmas fun!

Christmas was magical! 2.5 is the PERFECT age for Christmas! We hosted everyone at our house and it was so much fun. It really couldn't have been better. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it, whether near or far.

Grayson is 3 months old!

Our sweet boy Grayson is getting so big! He definitely has lost that "newborn" look. I remember thinking that about Sterling around 3 months too. Grayson is holding up his head very well now. He can sit upright on your lap or propped up on the floor. He thinks Sterling is so much fun and will laugh at him for just about anything. It takes a little more work for Nate and I to get him to laugh... apparently we aren't quite as funny as Sterling. Grayson doesn't have another well-check at his pediatrician's office until January, but i'm guessing he is around 14 pounds.

Grayson is 2 months old!

How fast time flies! Grayson is two months old and we're seeing more and more personality every day. Here is what's going on in Grayson's world lately:

He has decided he's not a fan of the swing - but LOVES the bouncy chair and can bounce it by himself.
He is getting more talkative every day.
He smiles all of the time... really, all of the time.
He is sleeping through the night most of the time (doesn't wake up until around 3:30. so that's usually 7 hours straight. yay!)

At his 2 month doctor appointment he got his first round of immunizations. He was pretty mad, but all-in-all took it like a champ. He is officially 23.5 inches long (77%) and weighs 12 lbs 10 oz (62%).

Grayson is one month old!

Time sure does fly in our lives these days. Grayson is officially one month old and is just so precious! We started a tradition with Sterling that we took a photo in the same spot just in a diaper every month for the first 12 months. It was so wonderful to look back at each month and see how much he changed and grew.

A few 1 month stats for our newest little man:

He wears size 0 to 3 month clothes & size 1 diapers
He loves the bouncy seat and the swing, but isn't really a fan of the pacificier.
His eyes are still blue with a little Grey around the center
His hair has almost all fallen out -- just a little left in the back
He is very alert and his neck is so strong! He holds his head up and looks us in the face for a surprisingly long time.
He eats at least every 3 hours... around the clock. We're hoping to get a little more sleep in the near future, but Grayson is growing fast and that takes a lot of energy!

Grayson will have a 2 month appointment with the pediatrician, so we'll have height/weight stats next month. At his 2 week appointment he was 8 lbs 10 oz and just shy of 21 inches long (confirming our thoughts that the 19 1/4 inch measurement at birth wasn't very accurate).

Nate and I are over-the-moon in love with this little guy... but Sterling is without a doubt his #1 fan. Sterling is just the sweetest big brother that has ever been and wants to be near his little brother at all times. He loves to give him kisses and always wants to help do things for his brother. It melts my heart thinking of all the awesome "brother" moments we have in our future.
